The journalist of Colpisa José María Camarero obtains the Electric Power Award
The jury highlights its contribution to bring, in a clear and understandable, news and energy news to all parts of Spain through Vocento newspapers
José María Camarero, journalist of the Colpisa Agency responsible for the Energy area, has received the Electric Power Award for the important work carried out and his contribution to bringing the world of energy closer to society. The jury of the award highlighted the rigor and objectivity of José María Camarero, who "has managed to position and value the information on electrical energy in the Vocento group's newspapers", while being able to "bring and make comprehensible the energetic news to the reader »through such emblematic headers as El Correo, El Diario Vasco, El Comercio, Diario Montañés, La Rioja, Las Provincias, La Verdad, Ideal, South, North of Castilla and Today. The award, sponsored by the Association of Electric Energy Companies (alec), was delivered by Marina Serrano, president of the association.
More than 300 personalities from the energy sector, politics and business, as well as numerous professionals in the field of communication, attended the XXIX edition of the energy awards, which annually celebrates the Spanish Energy Club (Enerclub) . They were also awarded the 'Gas Prize' Carmen Monforte, Cinco Días; with the 'Efficient Use of Energy Award' Miguel Ángel Patiño, from Expansión; the 'Oil Award' went to Juan Cruz, from El Confidencial; 'Renewable Energies Award' for Laura Ojea, from El Periódico de la Energía; and 'Innovation Award' to Stephen Dunne, of reNEWS, The awards have been sponsored by Aeléc, Sedigas, Repsol, Naturgy, Endesa and Siemens Gamesa.
The director of the Chair of Energy Sustainability at the University of Barcelona and former president of the National Energy Commission, María Teresa Costa, received the Energy and Reputable Victoriano Society Award, in recognition of her extensive and long career and her contribution to the sector energetic. It was given to him by the Minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, and by the president of the Spanish Energy Club (Enerclub), Miguel Antoñanzas.
