Hyundai dominates the Spanish Championship of Alternative Energies

The last test, the Eco Rally of the Comunitat Valenciana, was held in Castellón

After two days of intense activity and under difficult weather conditions due to the heavy rain, Hyundai has been the great dominator of the fifth edition of the Eco Rally of the Comunitat Valenciana held in Castellón. Both in the section of electric vehicles and in the hybrid, with separate Kona Electric and Ioniq Plug In, the Korean brand has achieved victory thanks to its lower consumption.

In the electric category, the first place in the Spanish Championship went to Manu Cortés-Eloi Alsina with a Hyundai Kona Electric ahead of the Renault Zoe of Peirat and Miguel. As for the hybrids, Hyundai has again achieved victory with two plug-in Ioniq at the controls of Lucas Pérez and Miguel Ángel Casado and Txema Foronda and Pilar Rodas, well known in this specialty.

The test, scoring for the first time for the FIA international category, was dominated by Eneko Conde and Adolfo González Almuiña (Nissan Leaf), with BMW i3 by Javier Moltó and Loren Serrano in second position and Manu Cortés and Eloi Alsina (Hyundai Kona Electric ) in third. The French and world champions, Didier Malga and Anne-Valerie Bonnel (Renault Zoe), had to settle for fourth place.
